I had such high hopes for this BCBG dress to be the one I would wear to the Simply Stylist event I attended last Saturday, but after wearing it around for about 10 minutes, I realized that it was just too tight. I do need to be able to breathe, after all 😉
I imagined the silver strands weaved throughout the fabric glistening in the sun, and the train in the back flowing behind me as I walked through the crowd. Such lofty ambitions for a dress, haha! Anyway, I still went ahead and took a couple of pictures in it, because it really is just so pretty, and then I shipped it on back to Rent the Runway so it can go find a new home. I paired it with a little bracelet bag that totally picked up all of the shades in the dress, and my new Sam Edelman pumps I recently picked up for a steal at Nordstrom Rack.

Thank you so much! I was a little bummed, but I know that not every dressmaker cuts the fabric the same way, so I got over it and adapted 🙂 The fabric is incredible! I would adore the bottom half of the dress as a super flowy skirt!
