Hello, loves! Another month has passed, and I am excited to share my June IG outfit roundup! June marked the official beginning of summer and ACTUAL sunshine and warm nights. I shared some of my favorite looks ever, and after the great response I got from last month’s roundup, knew I wanted to share again!

I LOVED this floral print dress! I’ve worn it several times, most recently to the season premiere viewing of The Good Fight and Maelle Beauty product preview at EvolveHer.
Dress (available in standard, tall, and plus sizing) / ASOS // Necklace / Efy Tal // Belt / JCPenney // Bracelets c/o Trending Above

Top (currently on sale for only $12!) & Joggers c/o Pact // Bag / Tribe Alive from the Box of Style // Sandals / Target // Sunnies / EyeBuyDirect

Another lovely Amazon find!
Dress / Amazon (also check out Vellabox for their fantastic candle subscription service.)

Yes, I realize that I’m holding a box of pantyliners, we’ll move past that and appreciate this lovely dress I’m wearing! It’s the same style as the cobalt blue one I shared last month, and I’m loving it!
Dress / Amazon // Necklace / LA find // Sandals / Lucky Brand // Bag / Thrifted from Goodwill

Top & Leggings c/o RS Sport // Sneakers / Altra

My look: Dress c/o Lulus (on major sale for only $22!) // Jacket c/o Simply Be // Sandals / JustFab // Necklace c/o Ettika

Denim Jacket / Gap // Tank / Nordstrom Rack // Skirt (comes as a set with a tube top) / Amazon // Sandals / Nordstrom Rack // Necklace / Gigimey/ Bag / Vintage

Bettina’s look: Top / Revolve // Skirt / Heels / Ted Baker
My look: Dress c/o Pink Blush // Sandals / Steve Madden // Necklace / Gigimey Jewelry

I know some of you don’t even use Instagram anymore, and I don’t blame you! Sometimes, it’s more frustrating than it is inspiring, so I still like to come on here and share my looks. I hope you enjoyed my looks!
Comment below which was your favorite from last month! ?

NYFW Spring/Summer ’19 Day 3 Recap

September 24, 2018

This post is sponsored in part by Pink Blush, Kestan and Cleo Restaurant NY. It also contains affiliate links. Clicking on them or purchasing items through them may provide me with a small commission.

Whew! Days 1 & 2 were so jam-packed, I honestly could have called it there and been completely satisfied with the trip. That was so not the case, as we were just getting started with our New York adventures! Keep reading to see what I got up to on day 3…

Our first show of the day was at Pier 39 Studios for the Custo Barcelona runway. Legit, you guys, this was my favorite show of the season. So many mixed metallics, pastel rainbows, swingy dresses, bomber jackets.. Enough trying to explain in, check out these images of some of my favorite pieces from the collection!

After Custo, even though the next show was in the same building, we had to go back outside to check in for it. Kind of annoying, and I wish they could figure out a way to check you in for both at the same time, but I digress. Next up was the Oxford Fashion collection of designers, which admittedly included a whole bunch of designers I’d never heard of before, but I didn’t find too many pieces that I was like “oh, yes, I would totally wear that!” Nothing against the designers, some of the looks were just a bit high-concept for my taste. I was SO excited to run in to Rachel from @racheloffduty and Summer from @summerlebuchanan before the show started! We met through a blogging community back in Southern California and I was missing my girls so much! We had planned on all going to lunch together, but got pulled in different directions in the end. Thankfully, I believe they’re both attending next season!

A couple of the girls and I wanted to play proper tourists and check out The High Line, and let’s be honest, take some cool pictures. We tried to make it there last season but OMG was that the coldest, windiest day in existence and we just couldn’t handle our lives. So thankful that the sun came out, if only briefly, for us to grab all of these amazing shots!

The rain started coming back so we left the High Line in search of our first meal of the day. After mobbing through the cluster that is Chelsea Market, Rachel and I decided on bagel sandwiches, and then I met up with the rest of the ladies and we headed back to the apartment for a well-deserved rest. I say rest, but it was really about 30 minutes of laying in bed on our phones and then starting to get ready for dinner!

Cleo Restaurant New York
Our amazing photographer, Courtney, was so excited when she heard we were dining at Cleo because she’d dined previously at their Las Vegas location and LOVED it. I absolutely understood why because literally everything I ate or drank while dining with them was delicious. Standouts were the Passionfruit Margarita, Roasted Cauliflower, Lamb Shwarma, and the Brussels Sprouts. OMG the Brussels Sprouts… I’ve never tasted anything like them and am currently sitting here craving them. If you go to Cleo, GET THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS, OK?

After dinner, a few of us headed to a local rooftop bar for a bit of drinking and a whole lot of dancing. I’ll admit, I probably overdid it this night. A couple cocktails and glasses of wine at dinner, and a couple of cocktails at the bar/club had me feeling pretty toasty. We cabbed it back to the apartment and crashed hard.

Alright, so I was initially going to make this post include days 3&4 but they were both pretty full so the rest of my trip will be coming in the next post!
Hope you enjoyed following along, babes!

SoCal Blogger Babes Fall Meetup

November 6, 2017

GilmoreStudios_0119Check out all of those babes, haha!!
I can not even begin to describe how awesome it was to meet up again with some of my favorite fellow influencers, this time for the SoCal Blogger Babes fall mixer! I’m really starting to look forward to all of these events, especially after seeing how much hard work goes in to planning them, and then the payoff.. A couple hours chatting, mingling, networking, sharing style tips, and overall being our badass selves!

Gilmore Studios was gracious enough to capture all of the great moments throughout the event, the laughter, the confessions, and of course, the fashion! The SoCal Blogger Babe VIPs were provided with looks from Viena Valentina, an online boutique featuring of-the-moment affordable styles. The sister/owners of the brand are themselves adorable, and they even brought along a rack of clothes for us to shop their latest additions.

GilmoreStudios_0103The dedicated team leaders of the SoCal Blogger Babes, Danielle @daniellealanareyes; me; Shelby @sunshinedaydreamblog; Victoria @thisvictoriahasnosecrets_

GilmoreStudios_0027We all went gaga over these suculent pumpkins from The Wandering Desert. I will admit that a lot of the girls were trying to take them home for themselves when the event was nearing a close!

GilmoreStudios_0042 GilmoreStudios_0031Our primary sponsor for this event was Saranghae Skincare, a Korean beauty line. They were so amazing to gift 20 of us with their 5-step skincare line, and everyone went home with some of their sheet masks. I don’t know any girl who doesn’t freak out over sheet masks, and theirs are some of the best around, with quality ingredients like CoQ10 and hyaluronic acid.

GilmoreStudios_0023 GilmoreStudios_0038 GilmoreStudios_0082I’ll confess something.. I’m currently using this tote from Gigraffe Studios as my purse! I’ve honestly received so many compliments on it and people asking where they can get one! I tell them to apply to be a member! 😀 Also obsessed with my personalized leather keychain from Northwind Supply. I already had two leather tassels on my chain, and I’m starting to think I should probably draw a line before it gets out of hand. This one though is definitely a keeper!

GilmoreStudios_0017 GilmoreStudios_0050 GilmoreStudios_0051 GilmoreStudios_0043 GilmoreStudios_0091I can’t do a post without sharing my outfit details, so here they are! My blazer (which I wore as a cape because no one old the weather to cooperate!) was c/o Viena Valentina, my dress c/o Pink Blush, my Target booties, bless their little hearts, have been with me for over 5 years. My necklace and bangles are from Rocksbox, and my glasses are EyeBuyDirect.

GilmoreStudios_0024 GilmoreStudios_0095Whew, so many pictures, because there was so much going on! Always the best time with these babes, good things just seem to happen when we get together. We just attended StyleCon as a group yesterday, and amidst the chaos that it was, we still managed to catch up and have fun shopping and chatting. Until next time! Xoxo

Day Date Maxi Look

June 25, 2017

Day Date Maxi Look
Hello, loves! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite maxi dresses for summer, the Kaia from Ellie & Adair. It’s definitely an item I would call an elevated basic, because it’s simple and can be dressed up or down, but it has some extra little details. This maxi features collarbone-grazing cutouts, knee-high slits, and… pockets! It’s also the softest stretch material and is so comfy to lounge around in, or it can totally be dressed up for a day date or the material at the bottom can be tied and worn for a GNO with some heeled sandals and a statement necklace.

When pulling the accessories to bring this dress to life, I knew I wanted to keep it playful and casual. I grabbed the necklace to add some color and a touch of glam, the sandals for comfort and simplicity, a denim button down for texture, and a crossbody bag only big enough for the essentials. I felt the look was missing something, so I tried on this panama hat. Just in case you all hadn’t noticed, I rarely wear hats, and only own a handful. They’re just not an accessory I reach for, and I think that’s because I am under the impression that I have an oddly shaped head. Most hats just  don’t fit my head right! I love a floppy sun hat, but most fedoras, caps, etc., I think are super unflattering on me. This one though called to me, and I’ve worn it several times since purchasing. I thought it perfectly went along with the casual, not-trying-too-hard vibe I was going for, and totally a look I would wear for a day date with the boyfriend.

If you love this dress as much as I do, you can shop it now at Ellie & Adair, just make sure to use code VIP15 at checkout to save 15% off your total purchase AND free shipping!
