Embroidered Sundress & Denim Jacket Hello loves!
I have to say it quickly, before it disappears, but spring has arrived in Southern California! We generally only get a few short weeks in between frigid mornings and hundred degree afternoons, and I like to take advantage of every moment! Little sundresses, sandals, delicate floral prints… It’s a girly girl’s dream season to get dressed for.

Holli (my dream of a photographer and good friend) and I decided to stop in for a bite and some refreshments at Dhat Island, a new Caribbean restaurant located in the downtown area of Redlands, CA. When I read that baby coconuts were on the menu, I’m pretty sure that I let out a squeal! I love coconut water and there’s nothing more fresh than right out of the shell.

I also wanted to share something that I’m super excited to start planning.. My good friend & coworker, Amanda, is getting married in Puerto Rico this summer! I’ve been asked to be the maid-of-honor, a task which is seemingly overwhelming but I’m up for the challenge. I could definitely use tips on how to be the best MOH possible, and also if you have any recommendations for things to do and see in and around San Juan, Puerto Rico!

BohoCheri Spring Looks

Hello loves! You may recognize the gorgeous lady standing next to me from previous shoots in the reflection of my sunglasses, but if not, please allow me to introduce you to Holli, one of my amazing photographers! Holli is not only incredible at making me feel comfortable and help me figure out what the heck I’m doing, but she’s a great friend as well. When we were brainstorming ideas for our next shoot, it only came naturally that Holli, a modern hippie at heart, would join me on the fun side of the camera, to help me show off some BohoCheri spring looks.
We’re both wearing designs from BohoCheri, a local boutique that I’ve recently become enamored with. They have pretty much everything you need for your summer wardrobe, not to mention perfect looks for the upcoming festival season! Fur Vest and a Little Black Dress

DFT Hippie Fur Favorites - 5 Mark and I are home from our Las Vegas anniversary trip and are trying our best to settle back in to work and the “daily grind”. After 2 PM happy hours, dancing by ourselves while overlooking the entire strip on the High Roller at the Linq, gettin’ down to some throwback Thursday tunes at L.A.X… It’s been difficult haha!
On a different and very exciting note, I am happy to share that I will be collaborating with more boutiques and brands in the upcoming months, and am SO thrilled to show you all some gorgeous new clothes, products, and beauty items I’ve fallen in love with.
In the light of the upcoming festival season, or maybe just a craving for uncomplicated dressing when the weather turns to unbearably hot, I’ve recently been fully embracing a boho luxe aesthetic! I’ve partnered with BohoCheri, a local boutique specializing in relaxed shapes, luxe fabrics, and one-of-a-kind bags and jewelry crafted by local artisans, to bring you a gorgeous Spring Lookbook.
First up is this surprisingly wearable ombre fur vest. It would look amazing over a tank and shorts, bundled up with a high-necked sweater and jeans if you’re still in a cooler climate, or a touch more girly, paired with a dress and ankle booties, as I have here.

Anthropologie Top & Black Skinnies

DFT- Lipstick Picks - 13 I’ve been asked before where I would shop if I had an endless budget for my wardrobe. The store that always flashes to mind is Anthropologie. They have such a gorgeous collection of printed dresses, embellished blouses, midi skirts and fancy footwear (not to mention their home décor!), I don’t think I would ever get tired of shopping there. Spending $328 on a dress isn’t really where I’m at right now in life, just being honest, so I rarely walk out with a shopping bag after a lap around the store.
The one area where I really shine though, is finding a deal! I recently (like last week!) found some amazing pieces on the Anthropologie website, including this crochet-neckline striped/floral tee. Yes, there’s a lot going on, but in a black & white palette, it totally works. Keeping it simple with black skinnies and ankle-strap flats, this is the perfect casual chic look I’ve been gravitating towards. Read on for the rest of the outfit and my picks from the sale!
