It’s difficult sometimes to make jeans and heels seem fresh for a date, but I say it’s all in the details. These D’orsay pumps have this sexy little curvature to them that I love. Cuffing the jeans (a style tip I picked up from Shannon at Layered by Cake Boutique) allows more skin to peek out to highlight the footwear (also helpful in this sweltering heat, they act as vents when you’re wearing skinny jeans haha!) Another fun detail from this look is the one-shouldered top from the quarterly blouse subscription service, Elizabeth & Clarke. It’s a flirty element that doesn’t leave you feeling too bare. I topped it all off with a very summery and fun scenic clutch that holds just the essentials.. cell phone, compact mirror, lipstick, gum, eyeliner, perfume vial, and credit cards/ID.

Wait, already?! The holiday weekend is almost over?! Rude. I wanted at least one more day to clean and get our house in order.
