Hey babes!
I don’t know about you but.. I’m obsessed with football. It’s always been my favorite sport to watch, and even though I did enjoy a basketball game or two growing up, my heart has always been with football. I can recall watching games with my dad, both college and pro, as far back as I can remember. Now that I’m all grown up, I not only watch the games every Thursday, Sunday and Monday (whew!!), but I’m also in a fantasy league. Not to toot my own horn, but I’ve won my league 2 out of the past 3 years! It’s fun to feel like you have a little bit of a stake in the games, more so than just cheering for your favorite teams. Mine was the San Diego Chargers for the longest time, but since the switch to LA, I’m sorry to say, it just doesn’t feel the same!

My attire for the game is shifting as well, especially since I don’t necessarily feel like I have a designated team anymore, and rarely reach for my jerseys or team-specific t-shirts. I was so excited to find this top from Perfectly Priscilla Boutique, which is as comfy as it is cute! I love the “Home is Where the Field is” message, and the forgiving fit that won’t show if I’ve had a beer or two, or shared a plate of chicken tenders during halftime.

Maxi in the Halls

Hi, babes!
I know, I know, another floral maxi dress, but I just can’t get enough of them! This is one of my favorite prints yet, a vivid floral with a deep blue background. This one has great deep pockets, a high neckline to frame gorgeous metallic jewelry, and a lovely flow when walking. I will say that it was a toucccch short on me, at 5’7″, with flat sandals it was still a couple inches shorter than I would have liked. This exact dress is sold out, but I’m hoping for a restock soon! Until then, check out these other gorgeous maxis Perfectly Priscilla has to offer.
It’s always kind of crazy going back to shoot at places that used to mean something else to me. We went to Crafton Hills College to capture these images, and years ago, I used to attend college here. So much has changed, so many improvements made, and a lot of measures to make this once sterile campus more inviting, green, and beautiful. As with every college campus, there are little nooks and crannies, places to hide away and get some piece and quiet to study or decompress. I know I’m probably not supposed to since I’m no longer a student, but sometimes I come up here just on an off day to read a book and tune out the world. There are gorgeous vistas of the mountains and valleys to look out upon.

Garnet Floral Maxi with Perfectly Priscilla

Hello, loves!
With the weather quickly taking a turn from chilly to, well, perfect, I thought it would be a great time to share my favorite in-between piece.. The maxi dress! With or without sleeves, they work with layering items like a denim jacket or loose cardigan. They transition seamlessly from work to drinks to a movie date. For this particular moody floral number, I could fancy it up a bit and swap out the “self-belt” for a metallic version, swap the sandals for dressy wedges, and throw on a blingy gold choker for some drama.
