Hello, loves!
Today, I want to talk about one of my new favorite companies. Well, to be honest, I’ve been a member of JustFab for a while now, but haven’t really purchased much until recently. I’ve had not great experiences with companies like these before, the monthly membership for clothing & accessories type. Fabletics was so touchy with quality and sizing, Jewelmint started sending items that totally weren’t my style and would fall apart after only a few wears… Anyway, I decided to give JustFab another chance after catching glimpses of cute shoes and bags that other bloggers or influencers were wearing.
I’ve been really impressed with the quality of the shoes especially. From these 90’s-tastic platforms to on-trend lace-up flats to these gorgeous laser-cut wedges, all pairs I would have expected to pay more than $40 for. The flats I’ve seen from many other brands at upwards of $200, and these are comfy and cute. For my next purchase, I’ve got my eye on these comfy faux suede, stacked heel sandals. So on trend right now, and just $40 with free shipping.
For my look today, I just wanted carefree, unadulterated springiness. Floral prints are a give in, but I’m loving these vibrant blue tones, paired with neutrals in the sandals and clutch.

Floral Maxi & Strappy Heels Nothing feels quite like the beginning of spring like a floral print maxi dress. This one in particular, with the high slits that allow a breeze to pass through, the bright and cheery pattern, and the fluttering kimono-like sleeves.. It’s pretty much love all around. I also love that you can dress it up a bit, with some crystal-emblazoned accessories, or down, with just some flip-flops to lounge poolside.
This dress is one of the many items I’ll be stocking my closet with this summer from BohoCheri boutique. They have everything from airy tops to jeans to maxis and tanks to get you through the warmer seasons (not to mention, all of the fun festivals that are coming up!) Speaking of summer plans, there was a baby hiccup in making our travel plans to Puerto Rico. We will have to leave a day earlier than the rest of the wedding party, so Mark and I will have more time to explore the historic areas of San Juan by ourselves. I very much look forward to checking out the Castillo San Felipe del Morro (a gorgeous castle with incredible views and lighthouses), dining at places like Greengos Caribbean Cantina and Casa Cortes ChocoBar, and shopping along the Calle del Cristo.

Mini Florals & Knee-High Boots

Well, hello loves!
I hope everyone is doing well and keeping mostly sane around these crazy holiday times. Mark and I braved Costco AND Sam’s Club yesterday and managed to get out of there relatively unscathed (and spent under $100!). I saw a lot of folks stressed out and I wanted to tell them to just calm down and enjoy this time. The holidays for me have never been about “winning” or who has the best of something, or even worse, who got the best gifts. It’s about family, friends, awesome food, relaxing and fun times!

Now for the outfit, because you knew I would get there eventually.. haha! I’ve had this floral print dress for maybe a decade and I seem to only wear it in the fall because I think it works so well paired with rich cognac and ruby tones. Dark florals are one of my favorite trends this year, because they are the perfect blend of feminine and edgy, kind of what I’m all about 😉

Bring It On, Fall!

Does this look not totally get you in the mood for fall!?
The pumpkin-patching, cider-brewing, leaf-changing, cooler weather, scarf-with-everything goodness.. I love everything about fall. Which is odd, considering I’m in Southern California and we get about only 3 weeks of the season! I’ll take what I can get!
I’ve paired with Layered by Cake boutique again to highlight some of the cool new items they have on the site.. The “Kristin” floral pencil skirt, the infinitely cozy infinity scarf, and a floppy felt hat in one of my favorite autumnal hues, merlot.
