SoCal Blogger Babes Fall Meetup

November 6, 2017

GilmoreStudios_0119Check out all of those babes, haha!!
I can not even begin to describe how awesome it was to meet up again with some of my favorite fellow influencers, this time for the SoCal Blogger Babes fall mixer! I’m really starting to look forward to all of these events, especially after seeing how much hard work goes in to planning them, and then the payoff.. A couple hours chatting, mingling, networking, sharing style tips, and overall being our badass selves!

Gilmore Studios was gracious enough to capture all of the great moments throughout the event, the laughter, the confessions, and of course, the fashion! The SoCal Blogger Babe VIPs were provided with looks from Viena Valentina, an online boutique featuring of-the-moment affordable styles. The sister/owners of the brand are themselves adorable, and they even brought along a rack of clothes for us to shop their latest additions.

GilmoreStudios_0027We all went gaga over these suculent pumpkins from The Wandering Desert. I will admit that a lot of the girls were trying to take them home for themselves when the event was nearing a close!

GilmoreStudios_0042 GilmoreStudios_0031Our primary sponsor for this event was Saranghae Skincare, a Korean beauty line. They were so amazing to gift 20 of us with their 5-step skincare line, and everyone went home with some of their sheet masks. I don’t know any girl who doesn’t freak out over sheet masks, and theirs are some of the best around, with quality ingredients like CoQ10 and hyaluronic acid.

GilmoreStudios_0023 GilmoreStudios_0038 GilmoreStudios_0082I’ll confess something.. I’m currently using this tote from Gigraffe Studios as my purse! I’ve honestly received so many compliments on it and people asking where they can get one! I tell them to apply to be a member! 😀 Also obsessed with my personalized leather keychain from Northwind Supply. I already had two leather tassels on my chain, and I’m starting to think I should probably draw a line before it gets out of hand. This one though is definitely a keeper!

GilmoreStudios_0017 GilmoreStudios_0050 GilmoreStudios_0051 GilmoreStudios_0043 GilmoreStudios_0091I can’t do a post without sharing my outfit details, so here they are! My blazer (which I wore as a cape because no one old the weather to cooperate!) was c/o Viena Valentina, my dress c/o Pink Blush, my Target booties, bless their little hearts, have been with me for over 5 years. My necklace and bangles are from Rocksbox, and my glasses are EyeBuyDirect.

GilmoreStudios_0024 GilmoreStudios_0095Whew, so many pictures, because there was so much going on! Always the best time with these babes, good things just seem to happen when we get together. We just attended StyleCon as a group yesterday, and amidst the chaos that it was, we still managed to catch up and have fun shopping and chatting. Until next time! Xoxo

Fall Trend Series : Red & Bell Sleeves

Fall Trends - Red Bell Sleeved TopHey, babes!
I wanted to start a little series on a few of my favorite trends for fall, and I’m kicking things off with “red” and “bell sleeves”, coming together in this super cute and comfy top from The Mint Julep. I love how forgiving the cut is, and how it can be paired with jeans or leggings alike. I knew I wanted to style it with something sparkly and lovely, and this statement necklace I rented from Rocksbox definitely stood up to the bold red shade. I was soooo tempted to buy it, but I’m really trying to cut back on my jewelry spending until the end of the year.
As it gets cooler, eventually, I will absolutely be pairing this top with a blanket scarf and peacoat, and tucking the jeans into some knee-length boots. One thing I love about red is that it can easily pair with brown or black accessories, depending on what you have or the mood you’re going for.
I’m going to be shooting a couple of other fall trend looks in the next few weeks, and I’d love to hear from you! What are your favorite trends for the season? What do you need help styling?
Here are some ideas I have:
Midi dress/wrap dress
White shoes
Super frayed cropped denim
Blanket scarves
Colorblocking
Jewel tones
Velvet everything
Tie-neck blouses
Dressed up screen-print tees
Also, I’ve teamed up with 4 other awesome bloggers to share how they rock red this season. Scroll down to see their unique takes on the trend!

Fall Vibes

November 21, 2016

Fall Vibes - Full Outfit Details There are a few things for me that give off those quintessential fall vibes… Colors of mustard, burgundy, and cognac; nubby textures of corduroy, soft knits in the form of open cardigans, scarves and slouchy caps; knee-high boots to keep out the new chill in the air. It’s finally starting to look like we can begin wearing these items in southern California! It’s actually been raining on and off today, which, totally random side note, makes people in my area drive soooooo slow. Like 10 under the speed limit slow, I was almost late to work today!
If you happened to read my latest Stitch Fix review, you may have seen that these corduroy pants were not exactly love at first sight, that was until I tried them on. They’re so soft, provide a whole lot of warmth, and the color is much more versatile than I initially thought it would be.
I’d love to know, what are your fall staples?

Ronnie M Jewelry Fall Lookbook

November 16, 2016

Ronnie M Jewelry Fall Lookbook
Hello, my dears!
I am so excited to bring to you all a new collaboration between myself and Ronnie M Jewelry. As you may know, I’ve modeled for several local brands and boutiques before, doing a bit of modeling and styling for them. I actually met Veronica, (owner and designer of Ronnie M Jewelry), through one of these collabs and we instantly clicked. I loved her dedication and passion for her craft, not to mention, her jewelry and personality definitely stood out from the rest. When she asked me to model for the Ronnie M Jewelry fall lookbook, I was totally up for it!
This collection is all about those gorgeous fall tones of burgundy, grey, amber, and plum, with a hint of sparkle to welcome the upcoming holidays. I usually gravitate towards her stackable bracelets, (I own a few), but after our shoot, now have several of her wrap bracelets and a particular chunky knit infinity scarf (that’s currently on sale!!) on my wishlist. What’s better to wrap around your neck when the cool weather starts to roll in than something super nubby, crazy soft, and in the hottest color of the season? Also, use code “WELCOMENOVEMBER” at checkout for 15% off any purchase $75 and up through November 23rd.

Ronnie M Jewelry Fall Lookbook Ronnie M Jewelry Fall LookbookObsessed with this scarf, and the fact that it just went on sale (for $22!!). It can be worn in a single loop, or doubled up for extra warmth.
