Colleen Rothschild Skincare Review

November 17, 2016

Colleen Rothschild Skincare Review - Detox Mask & Clarifying BalmHi loves!
Today, I wanted to share with you a skincare line that you probably haven’t heard of yet. A little while back, I received an email from a rep at Colleen Rothschild Skincare, offering to send me a few of their products to try out, no pressure to post or share with my followers if I didn’t enjoy them. Thankfully, the products are fantastic, and I’m looking forward to trying even more from the brand. I was sent two items – first, the Radiant Cleansing Balm, which is a luxe makeup remover that leaves my skin SO soft and clean, and is almost like getting a mini-facial. I also received the Clarifying Detox Mask, which in addition to brightening and soothing skin, actually has a high-tech ingredient (micronized silver), to reduce bacteria on the skin. This is especially important in the upcoming months, full of travel, holiday parties, and flu season. I feel like my skin is brighter, clearer, and smoother after just a couple of uses.
One thing I definitely noticed as a distinguishing factor between Colleen Rothschild Skincare and other high-end brands is that the products not only look gorgeous on your bathroom counter, but they also truly deliver results. I’ve tried numerous skincare creams, lotions, and serums that come in pretty packages, but don’t do much for the skin. One time I spent $150 on a face serum that left my skin tacky, not taut. These products are not only reasonably priced, considering the quality, but they do exactly what they promise to do. Next up, I’m looking forward to trying the Dual Enzyme Polish and the brand new Hygge candle. The scent description sounds incredible, and I can picture lighting it on a cold fall evening after dinner and just letting the scent fill the room.
Use my code “DFT20” at checkout to receive 20% off your purchase of regular-priced items.

Ronnie M Jewelry Fall Lookbook

November 16, 2016

Ronnie M Jewelry Fall Lookbook
Hello, my dears!
I am so excited to bring to you all a new collaboration between myself and Ronnie M Jewelry. As you may know, I’ve modeled for several local brands and boutiques before, doing a bit of modeling and styling for them. I actually met Veronica, (owner and designer of Ronnie M Jewelry), through one of these collabs and we instantly clicked. I loved her dedication and passion for her craft, not to mention, her jewelry and personality definitely stood out from the rest. When she asked me to model for the Ronnie M Jewelry fall lookbook, I was totally up for it!
This collection is all about those gorgeous fall tones of burgundy, grey, amber, and plum, with a hint of sparkle to welcome the upcoming holidays. I usually gravitate towards her stackable bracelets, (I own a few), but after our shoot, now have several of her wrap bracelets and a particular chunky knit infinity scarf (that’s currently on sale!!) on my wishlist. What’s better to wrap around your neck when the cool weather starts to roll in than something super nubby, crazy soft, and in the hottest color of the season? Also, use code “WELCOMENOVEMBER” at checkout for 15% off any purchase $75 and up through November 23rd.

Who What Wear Collection Fall Picks

November 8, 2016

Who What Wear Collection Fall Picks - Floral Print Midi DressI’ve been following Who What Wear for several years now and was so excited when they partnered with Target to bring some of the current trends, perhaps normally reserved for street style stars, to a much lower price point so they are accessible for all. It took me a couple of seasons to finally dive in and buy a few things, mostly because the collection is always down to a few off-sizes at my local store by the time I make it in. This season, I decided to order online and edit from there. Not pictured are a couple of the pencil skirts (I sized UP and these still didn’t fit!), cropped pants (that weren’t sewn at the top so the material kept flipping up), and a couple of long-sleeved tees with off screen-printing. As you can tell, not every piece in the collection is a winner. If buying online, make sure you read the reviews to see if you need to size up, if the zipper generally sucks, etc. Without further ado, check out my Who What Wear Collection Fall Picks!

Who What Wear Collection Fall Picks - Feminine Midi DressThis dress (obvi) was just the most fun to twirl around in. At first, I wasn’t sold on the faux leather trim around the neckline and the wrists, but it’s really grown on me! It adds a little edge to the feminine floral print. The lace-up low heels are also from Target. Dress (different print), $36.99, pumps, $34.99.

Who What Wear Collection Fall Picks - Polka Dot Shirt Dress Who What Wear Collection Fall Picks - Pajama ShirtdressMy first time trying out the pajama trend, this shirtdress is about as comfy as wearing pajamas! The belt is definitely needed, as this dress isn’t very fitted so it looks a little sack-like without it. I paired it with heeled cut-out ankle booties to balance the look. Dress, $29.74 (on clearance!)

Who What Wear Collection Fall Picks - Suede Moto Jacket & Skinnies Who What Wear Collection Fall Picks - Moto Jacket and Striped Shell I’d been wanting to get my hands on a colored suede moto jacket for fall, and when I came across this one (on sale, no less, because I had a 20% off code!), I jumped on it. Olive is such a versatile color for fall, and great to throw on over just about anything. I paired it with this sheer striped shell, also from WWW, black skinnies and beige suede booties. Jacket, $49.99, shell, $22.99.
And lastly, not from the Who What Wear brand, but I found several gorgeous pairs of velvet shoes at Target that I had to share. Velvet and embellished are two of my favorite trends for the upcoming holidays, especially in the form of footwear! They’re so fun and put an extra little bit of festiveness in your step!

Who What Wear Collection Fall Picks - Velvet & Embellished ShoesClockwise from top : Embellished ankle-strap heels / FarylRobin $39.99 // Embellished ankle-strap flats / FarylRobin // Velvet ankle booties / Merona (no longer available in this color 🙁 // Lace-up flats / Mossimo (also got these in burgundy, because of course I did!)

What do you all think of the Who What Wear collections for Target? Any hits/misses that you’ve tried? I’d love to hear 😀

October Stitch Fix

November 1, 2016

October Stitch Fix - Burgundy Cords and ScarfHello, loves!
Welcome to my October Stitch Fix, filled with the colors of fall.. Rich burgundy, forest green, navy and grey. This time around, I requested dark pants, a moody floral piece, a comfy grey cardigan, a midi skirt and a fun piece of my stylist’s choosing. I was thrilled with everything I received, with the exception of the comfy sweater. For me, it seemed too casual, as do most things with hoods. Spoiler alert, I kept everything this round! I was considering sending back just the sweater, but it made more financial sense to keep it all, so I could partake in the 25% discount and I can always bundle up in the sweater when it’s chilly out.

October Stitch Fix - Burgundry Corduroy Pants Top & Cords / Stitch Fix // Scarf & Sunnies / Layered by Cake // Flats / BCBGeneration
Top $48 & Cords $68, both kept. Enter one of the most versatile blouses ever! I can pair it with virtually any bottom, and layer a sweater or scarf on top. It’s a great basic piece to have in my closet. The cords I wasn’t so sure about until I tried them on. The rich color and great fit made me change my mind, and I realized they were actually quite versatile as well.

October Stitch Fix - Dark Floral Top and Midi Skirt October Stitch Fix - Dark Floral Top Top / Stitch Fix // Skirt / H&M // Clutch / Forever 21 // Flats / Louise et Cie // Necklace / BaubleBar
Blouse, $54, kept. Loved the print on this top and the detail around the neck. It does mean that I can’t wear a regular bra, and I hate wearing strapless bras, but for this top, I’ll make an exception.

October Stitch Fix - Hooded Cardigan for Fall October Stitch Fix - Jeans and Hooded CardiganHooded sweater / Stitch Fix // Top / Old Navy // Jeans / MaviUSA from Stitch Fix // Flats / Mossimo // Sunglasses / Layered by Cake
Sweater, $54, kept. Like I said, I wasn’t initially sold on this hooded waterfall cardigan, but it is a great piece to just throw on with some loose-fitting pants and a tank on the weekend. A little too casual for me to wear out on a regular basis, but soooo comfy.

October Stitch Fix - Pencil Skirt & Dolman Top October Stitch Fix - Striped Skirt for Fall Top & Skirt / Stitch Fix // Clutch / Who What Wear for Target // Booties / Forever 21 // Bracelet / Fab.com / Necklace / LA find
Skirt, $48, kept. This skirt was similar to another knit pencil skirt sent to me in one of my first fixes, shown here and here. That one had tones of slate blue, navy and cream. This material has a slightly different color way, also incorporating burnt red and olive, and I’ve already found so many different pairings for it.

Overall, a great fix. I have worn the black top seriously so many times, and the skirt multiple times as well. The cords are just a touch warm for me still, but I look forward to wearing them in the upcoming months. Next time, I’m looking for a dark blazer, another moody floral piece (can you tell I’m obsessed?!), an everyday pair of jeans and a shirtdress to pair with leggings/tights.
