This fall, I’m going to be all about comfort for my feet! A couple of pairs of slip-ons, some wedge booties, flat sandals, and low-heeled ankle boots, and I’m halfway to my ultimate fall shoe options! I love that the plaid print on the ASOS slip-ons can both liven up a plain t-and-jeans outfit, or add some interesting contrast to a striped sweater. I also cannot wait for it to be cool enough to throw on a pair of tights and a dress and slip my feet into those TOMS wedges. Herringbone and plaid are definitely high on my list of picks for Fall/Winter prints, along with gingham/checkered fabric and windowpane prints. Part two will include knee-high and Chelsea boots, and also some dressier options.
For our third date, Mark and I went to a comedy show at the Ontario Improv. I don’t remember who we watched perform, or what we had to eat or drink, but I do remember one of the comedians picking on Mark for his occupation in front of a packed house and me laughing a LOT. We decided last weekend to go again, this time with a coworker of mine and her boyfriend, and it was just as much fun as I remembered. I wanted to wear something bright and also comfortable, because sitting for 3 hours can be really unpleasant in jeans after a full meal, just sayin!

I’ve officially moved on from midi skirts to maxi dresses… This week, at least. Here are a couple of looks that I’ve come up with.
This dress, believe it or not, is from the Tina Knowles for Walmart line from like 4 years ago! Similar, similar

Turquoise ball necklace, similar
White thong sandals, JcPenney, similar
Acrylic bracelet, J. Crew Factory, similar
This look came together very quickly as I was getting ready for brunch. I like that it’s super flowy and breezy, but still accentuates my shape with the waist-cinching belt. Unfortunately, I had horrible lighting when I shot this, but I liked it still.
